Born in Liberia and raised around the MN metro, John has been interested in politics and cannabis since he was a teenager. The death of Philando Castille brought him to cannabis activism in 2017. After some time he became the Outreach Director for The Campaign for Full Legalization and later the Treasurer for the Legal Marijuana Now Party. Through these experiences John learned how to craft and read policy while also learning how to advocate at the state capitol.
